Wild Youth released their new single Close this week and today on Plan B it took the top spot.
You voted on Spin's Twitter page and they quickly took the lead.
They were up against Zara larrson with her new single Don'y Worry About Me.

The new single has an incredible 80's vibe and almost channels music idol Prince.

Lyrics on the wall
Not only did the band release new music this week they also had the honour of having the lyrics to their hit Can't Hold On printed on the wall of a hotel room in The Morrison.
They join the likes of Hozier, Thin Lizzy and Kodaline who's lyrics grace the walls of the Dublin hotel.
So if if you plan on a stay make sure to ask for room 329.
