Established in 2008, the scholarships are valued at €6,750 per annum in the Republic of Ireland and £5,500 in Northern Ireland and continue for the duration of the undergraduate programme chosen by each scholarship winner.
The winners were commended for their achievements by the guest of honour, Limerick Senior Hurling Manager John Kiely:
"It's an amazing opportunity for the students, it gives them stability in their education, it gives them financial support to get them through their education and its transformational for the kids, their families and it's a huge honour for the schools involved."
