Almost 200 jobs are being created at two new data centres in both Dublin and Wicklow.
Echelon Data Centres Limited is building the new developments in Clondalkin and Arklow, with over 900 workers to be hired during the construction phase.
190 operational positions will be created as part of the one billion euro investment.
Business Minister Heather Humphreys says it's "fantastic news for Ireland, especially as it's one that will use a number of Irish suppliers and domestic expertise in its delivery."
Meanwhile, CEO of Echelon Data Centres Niall Molloy said:
"Between our two sites in Clondalkin and Arklow, and other sites that we are in the process of identifying and acquiring in Ireland, the UK and Europe, Echelon will become one of Europe's biggest data centre providers."
