A new city centre cinema
Dublin is getting a new cinema!
Dublin City Council has granted UK company Everyman Cinemas with planning permission to build a 2-screen theater.
The chain will build the cinema in One Molesworth Street, Dawson Street
According to the planning permission there will be a 72-seater auditorium and a 51-seater screen.
In their first venue outside the UK, Everyman will also include a bar and dining space across the basement of the property.
A spokesperson for the group promised they will create a, "higher-order, boutique cinema on a smaller scale."

Everyman Cinemas
Everyman Cinemas own a large number of theaters across the UK.
According to their website their aim is to redefine viewers movie-going experiences.
Similar to The Stella, Everyman Cinemas offer a full bar and food menu with waiter service.
The group expects up to 1,000 customers a week to use the new Dawson Street venue.
And they also revealed plans to open a further 14 cinemas by 2022.
