A former member of the Afghan government says the US has made a mistake in taking it's troops out of the country.
The Taliban's made significant gains in recent weeks.
U.S. intelligence officers believe they could take control of the capital Kabul, in just 90 days.
Meanwhile, some estimates suggest it's now in control of two-thirds of the country.
Taliban Accused Of "Abusing" Human Rights
Habiba Sarabi is an ex-minister for women's affairs in Kabul.
She says the militant group's advance is a worrying development.
"A violation is increasing inside Afghanistan."
"It's very badly abusing women's rights and human rights inside Afghanistan."
Afghans Need To Fight Their Own Battles - Biden
The US President Joe Biden says Afghan leaders need to fight for themselves.
However, Ex-British foreign secretary David Miliband says civilians are facing a deadly situation.
"We know around 5,000 were killed, just civilians killed, in recent fighting."
"So we also know about 30,000 a week are fleeing the country."
"We also know around 350,000 are homeless because of the fighting."
