Amazon will launch its first Irish fulfillment centre in Spring 2022.
500 permanent jobs will be created at the site at Baldonnell Business Park in Dublin which opens next year.
The multinational company is looking to employ engineers, HR and IT professionals to work there along with staff who will pick, pack and ship orders.
The opening of this fulfillment centre will also mean Irish customers can avail of faster delivery times and the option for next day delivery on thousands of items.
Last year Amazon announced plans to expand its total workforce in Ireland to over 5,000 by next year creating 1,000 new jobs.
