A big effort was put in by locals across the city.
The annual 'Team Dublin Clean Up' took place this morning in communities across the city.
The event is organised by Dublin City Council and aims to encourage residents to get together and clean up their local areas.
The other three Dublin councils also contributed to the planning.

Members of the Ukrainian Community in Ireland were highlighted for their efforts.
They were seen out cleaning as part of local residents' clean-up in Portobello.
Deputy Lord Mayor of Dublin Joe Costello says today's event is a show of respect and intention for the city.
"If there's one image that Dublin has in the past, was dirty old Dublin."
"It's good to show examples and it's more symbolic of what our intent is."
