Gardai have been using Twitter once again to highlight how drivers are trying to dodge their way past the rules of the road.
This time, they pulled over a motorist in Galway after catching them on a mobile phone.
However, it wasn't all they found, as this tax disc shows:

In a follow up tweet, they issued a subtle warning to motorists thinking of doing the same thing.
Galway: Stopped holding mobile phone while driving. DIY tax disc. Altering a tax disc is fraud and results in stiffer penalties in court.
