Good news for Barack and Michelle Obama, they will now be able to pasture sheep on common areas in Dublin City.
That's just one of the perks that comes with getting the Freedom of Dublin, which the former US President and First Lady have been awarded.
Last night the DCC voted in favour of the motion by a huge majority, however that didn't go down well with all members of the council. After the vote the People Before Profit, The AAA and the Workers Party walked out in disagreement with the decision to make Barack a freeman of the capital.
The vote comes amid huge speculation that the former US President is expected to visit Ireland in the near future.
Previous people to be rewarded the Key To The City include Bono and Nelson Mandela.
The Lord Mayor and former US Ambassador to Ireland took to twitter to share their delight of the news.
I am delighted that @DubCityCouncil will confer the Honorary Freedom of the City of Dublin on Barack and Michelle Obama. @ObamaFoundation
