Demand for the black market is increasing with hairdressers visiting homes to cut hair.
Closed since Christmas Eve, many hairdressers and barbers had hoped to be allowed re-open from the March 5th.
However, Tánaiste Leo Varadkar, says he expects personal services to remain closed until a much later date.

Yesterday he said he'd "ordered clippers online".
Hairdresser Dylan Bradshaw says it would be safer to allow the industry to open due to the boom in black market operator.
"It's actually silly that we're getting blamed for these sort of break outs are happening."
While all the hair jokes are gas, we should also remember the thousands working in personal services who’ve just received a blow, via a press conference, to their hopes of getting back to work soon.

Hairdressers Federation Hope To Reopen Salons In Level 4
The Irish Hairdressers Federation, says salons should be allowed operate in level 4 Covid-19 restrictions.
Danielle Kennedy from the group hopes a revised Living With Covid plan due in a fortnight will ensure a swift return for salons.
"Currently we open at level 3, we've been lobbying that that salons should open in level 4."
"That is because we've proven what a safe environment salons are to operate in."
