CAO history
Economics and Finance at UCD has hit the 600 point mark for the first time in CAO history.
That's an 11 point increase from 2018, which saw students needing 589 points to secure a place on the course.

The UCD website describes the course as: 'One of the premier degrees in Ireland and internationally in these areas.'
'It equips students with outstanding expertise in quantitative methods, analytical skills and a rigorous preparation in economics and finance.'
Over 500,000 CAO first round offers were issued yesterday afternoon.
Journalism and social science courses have dropped in popularity.
While there's been an increase in demand for arts, humanities, engineering and nursing.
