Yes, it was exactly where the driver left it.
A man has been reunited with his car after it was reported lost or stolen in Manchester 6 months ago.
According to the Manchester Evening News he man let his friend drive the BMW from their hometown in Scotland to Manchester for a Stone Roses gig at the Etihad Stadium in June.
The driver parked his car in one of the many parking garages used for the gig, but once the gig was over he couldn't remember where he left it (we've all been there!).
He spent 5 days in the city looking through the various car parks, but couldn't find it.
The owner of the car reported it lost or stolen in August, when efforts to find it failed.
However, Greater Manchester Police came across it on New Years Eve:

They continued on with a bit of humour:
We can't imagine what the ticket machine is going to say when they finally put the ticket in - £££££££££££££££££££££££££££££

I didn't even think of that. Horrifying thought.
