Gardai are investigating after a car was robbed in Cabra at the weekend with a baby inside.
It happened shortly after 7 pm last Sunday evening on St Attracta Road when the car was briefly left unattended.
The Herald reports the 10-month-old child was left on the side of the road after the car thief DIDN'T realise the infant was in the back seat.
"I'm just glad that the baby is ok, which is of some comfort," says local councillor Declan Meenagh.
"I just hope that the family is ok and that they will get the car back."
No one has been arrested, although it's understood Gardai are following a direct line of inquiry.
