Today will be very wet and blustery, with some heavy rain and strong winds. Drier, brighter weather, with scattered showers, will develop this afternoon. Top afternoon temperatures will vary between 7 and 12 degrees.
Tonight will be cold with widespread showers and some hail or hill sleet. It will be freezing again, with lowest temperatures of - 1 to plus 2 degrees with icy patches. Tuesday will be a bright, fresh day with sunny spells and showers, while Wednesday will be a largely dry day with sun again.
