Coppers nightclub is for sale
If you have €40 million to spare Coppers nightclub could be yours.
The iconic venue and adjoining Jackson Court Hotel are up for sale.
Owners Cathal and Paula Jackson put the property on the market yesterday.
However, it's good news for fans of the club as Coppers will remain open under the new ownership.
"It is now time to hand over the reins to new owners who have the energy and the expertise to take Coppers to the next level and to continue to deliver the best night out in Dublin to all our great and loyal customers," said Cathal Jackson.
The hotel is made up of 34 bedrooms, three beer gardens and seven bars.
The nightclub opened 23 years ago and the last recorded pre-tax profits were €4.1 million in 2017.
DC Curtain & Associates will be looking after the sale.
Selling agent Dermot Curtain said, "As nothing remotely like this property and business has ever been offered to the market in recent times, there are no comparable sales to measure this opportunity against."
The hotel and nightclub is expected to sell for approximately €40 million.
