The Department of Health has confirmed 10 additional death linked to Covid-19.
8 deaths occurred this month, 1 happened in February and 1 in January.
As of midnight last night, there have been 592 confirmed new cases of the virus in Ireland.
Over 70 percent of today's cases were identified in people under the age of 45 years old.
The median age is 32 years old.
Most of today's cases were identified in Dublin, where there are 253 new cases.
Elsewhere, there are 52 new cases in Kildare, 35 in Donegal, 33 in Meath and 28 in Galway.
The remaining 191 cases are spread across all other counties.
Meanwhile, there have been 32 additional hospitalisations in the past twenty-four hours.

In total, there are 359 Covid-19 patients in hospitals - 87 of whom are in intensive care.
As of Monday, 154,089 people have received both doses of a Covid-19 vaccine.
NPHET Approve Two Nursing Home Visits Per Week
Meanwhile, nursing Home residents will be able to receive two visits every week from March 22nd under compassionate grounds.
NPHET has approved the move and says there is no requirement to limit visits to less than one hour.

The new visitation guidelines will apply to nursing homes in which there is high vaccine coverage.
