The Department of Health has confirmed 6,521 new cases of Covid-19.
They have been notified of ten additional death related to the virus.
Of the cases notified today, 3070 are men while 3,432 are women.
Most people -62% - are aged under 45 years of age
The median age is 37 years old.

Most cases of Covid-19 are in Dublin, where there are 2,174 cases.
Elsewhere, there are 571 new cases in Cork, 382 in Limerick, 342 in Waterford and 315 in Waterford.
The remaining 2,737 cases are spread across all other counties
Meanwhile, there have been 99 additional hospitalisations in the past twenty-four hours.
In total, there are 1,043 Covid-19 patients in hospitals - 96 of whom are in intensive care.
