The median age of those who died is 77, with the age range between 43-94.
Statement from the National Public Health Emergency Team
The Health Protection Surveillance Centre @hpscireland has today been notified of 7 additional deaths related to COVID-19.
All of these deaths occurred in January.

Meanwhile, the Department has also been notified of 1,372 new cases of the virus.
616 of today's cases were identified in men while 751 are in women.
Most people -56% - are under 45 years of age.
The median age is 41 years old.
Most of today's cases were identified in Dublin, where there is 502 new cases.
Elsewhere, there are 164 new cases in Cork, 77 in Wexford and 66 in Louth.
The remaining 488 cases are spread across all other counties
Meanwhile, there have been 58 additional hospitalisations in the past twenty-four hours.
In total, there are 1,905 Covid-19 patients in hospitals - 219 of whom are in intensive care.
The 7 Day Incident Rate is estimated to be 296.3 per 100,000 population.
The 5 day moving average is 1,926.
