The Department of Health has confirmed 1,754 new cases of Covid-19.
They have been notified of 11 additional death related to the virus.
Of the cases notified today, 846 are men while 900 are women.
Most people -64% - are aged under 45 years of age.
The median age is 35 years old.
Most cases of Covid-19 are in Dublin, where there are 523 cases.
Elsewhere, there are 296 cases in Cork, 180 in Galway, 104 in Mayo and 94 in Kerry.

The remaining 557 cases are spread across all other counties
Meanwhile, there have been 46 additional hospitalisations in the past twenty-four hours.
In total, there are 504 Covid-19 patients in hospitals - 47 of whom are in intensive care.
The 14 Day Incident Rate is estimated to be 321.3 per 100,000 population.
