The Department of Health has reported 1,940 new Covid cases today.
It's a small decrease on yesterday's figure of 2,002.
There's 352 Covid patients in hospital, with 74 in ICU.
Trinity College Dublin Associate Professor Tomás Ryan says Ireland has over twice the European average for Covid-19 cases.
However, another milestone has been reached in the vaccination rollout, according to the Chair of the High Level vaccination task force.
92% of adults over 18 are now fully vaccinated.
Meanwhile the figure of those aged over 16 who have received at least one dose is marginally higher again.
And over 91% over 12s have received one dose.
Overall, 75% of the total population is now fully vaccinated.
