The Department of Health has confirmed 25 additional death linked to Covid-19.
Five deaths occurred this month, 13 happened in February while 6 occurred in January or earlier.
As of midnight last night, there have been 566 confirmed new cases of the virus in Ireland.
68% of today's confirmed cases are under 45 years of age.
The median age is 34 years old.
Most of today's cases were identified in Dublin, where there are 233 new cases.
Elsewhere, there are 37 new cases in Kildare, 30 in Meath, 25 in Donegal and 24 in Westmeath.
The remaining 214 cases are spread across all other counties.
Meanwhile, there have been 29 additional hospitalisations in the past twenty-four hours.
In total, there are 489 Covid-19 patients in hospitals - 114 of whom are in intensive care.
The 14 Day incident rate is 199.4 per 100,000 population.
As of Sunday, 141,883 people have received both doses of a Covid-19 vaccine.
297,899 have been administered their first shot.
Community Outbreaks Are Still An Issue - Deputy CMO
Meanwhile, the Deputy Chief Medical Officer Dr Ronan Glynn has warned that community outbreaks remain an issue.
"We are still seeing outbreaks in the community, including those linked to extended families, workplaces and funerals."
Dr Glynn says the public "must keep our guard up" against the B117 variant of the virus.
