The Department of Health has confirmed 264 new cases of Covid-19.
They have been notified of two additional death related to the virus.
Of the cases notified today, 128 are men while 134 are women.
Most people -65% - are aged under 45 years of age.
The median age is 36 years old.
Most cases of Covid-19 are in Dublin, where there are 79 cases.
Elsewhere, there are 24 cases in Donegal, 19 in Kerry, 18 in Limerick, 14 in Kildare and 14 in Wexford.
The remaining 96 cases are spread across 16 other counties.

Meanwhile, there have been 17 additional hospitalisations in the past twenty-four hours.
In total, there are 215 Covid-19 patients in hospitals - 33 of whom are in intensive care.
The 14 Day Incident Rate is estimated to be 83.4 per 100,000 population.
