The Department of Health has confirmed 270 new cases of Covid-19.
They have been notified of five additional death related to the virus.
There's an even gender split in today's cases, with 133 men and 133 women notified with the virus.
Of the cases notified today, 141 are men while 129 are women.
Most people -63% - are aged under 45 years of age.
The median age is 37 years old.
Most cases of Covid-19 are in Dublin, where there are 58 cases.
Elsewhere, there are 38 cases in Donegal, 28 in Wicklow, 25 in Mayo and 24 in Limerick.
The remaining 97 cases are spread across 21 counties.
Meanwhile, there have been 27 additional hospitalisations in the past twenty-four hours.
In total, there 231 Covid-19 patients in hospitals - 31 of whom are in intensive care.

The 14 Day incidence rate is estimated to be 84.7 per 100,00 population.
Ireland's 14 Day Incident Rate Is Lowest In The EU
Commenting on this evening's figures, Chief Medical Officer said Ireland's incidence rate is the lowest in the EU.
“As more services reopen for business, remember to use the basic public health advice as a guide when organising your time."
