The Department of Health has reported 4,667 new cases of Covid-19 today.
504 patients are hospitalised - up 23 on yesterday.
109 are in ICU - down 2 on yesterday.
Four new cases of the Omicron variant have also been confirmed in Ireland, bringing the total to date to ten.
Meanwhile, the HSE are urging people to check waiting times at its social media channels before heading out to a clinic.
It comes as many Covid-19 walk-in vaccination centres are experiencing wait times of up to 60 minutes so far today.

Walk-in centres in Simonstown in Co. Meath, Galway Racecourse and Moate in Co. Westmeath are experiencing longer wait times of 120 minutes or more.
However, people getting booster jabs in Monaghan and Letterkenny, Co. Donegal are facing short queues.
