The Department of Health have confirmed 675 new cases of Covid-19 and six further deaths.
The number of people being treated in intensive care units have increased by three in the last twenty four hours.
In total, there are 41 Covid patients in ICUs.
The fourteen day incident rate is 299 cases per 100,000 population.
Of the cases notified today, 364 are women while 309 are men.
Most people - 65% - are under the age of 45 with 35 being the median age.
The highest number of cases come from Dublin - where there are currently 199 new confirmed cases.
In Cork there are 104, 67 in Meath, 50 in Limerick and 41 in Kildare.
Meanwhile, the remaining 214 cases are spread across 20 other counties.

CMO Asks People To Self Isolate If They Have Covid Symptoms
Commenting on this evening's figures, CMO Dr Tony Holohan said "Everyone must be aware of the actions they should take if they have confirmed symptoms or are awaiting a test."
He asked people with symptoms of the virus to self isolate and contact their GP.
He also asked people waiting for results fo a test or are identified as a close contacts to self isolate.
"Stay informed on the public health advice around Covid-19 and be prepared to protect yourself and those around you," he said.
