The Department of Health has confirmed 270 new cases of Covid-19.
One person has died from the virus; there has now been 1,948 Covid-19 related deaths.
Of the cases notified today, 143 cases are men meanwhile 127 are women.
Most people - 69% - are aged under 45 years old, with the median age being 34.
Most cases, 103, are in Dublin.
There are 34 cases in Limerick, 20 in Donegal, 12 in Cork, 9 in Kerry and 9 in Kilkenny.

The remaining 83 cases are spread across 20 counties.
There have been 12 additional hospitalisations in the past twenty-four hours.
In total, 291 Covid patients are being treated in hospital, 39 of whom are in intensive care.
The 14 Day incidence rate is estimated to be 261 per 100,00 population.
