24 new cases of Covid-19 have been identified by health authorities.
One more person with the virus has also died.
As of this evening, 25,538 cases of Covid-19 have been recorded in this country.

The Health Protection Surveillance Centre @hpscireland has today been informed that 1 person with #COVID19 has died.
There has now been a total of 1,742 #COVID19 related deaths in Ireland.

There have been 1,742 Covid-19 related deaths since the outbreak began.
Acting Chief Medical Officer Dr Ronan Glynn says there have been 545,000 downloads of the new Covid tracker app, which shows one more example of the solidarity and collective spirit that has characterised the Irish public’s response to COVID-19 to date.
There have been no further Covid-19 related deaths in Northern Ireland for a fourth day in a row.
