A fire broke out in a building on Dame Street in the city centre this afternoon, closing the road to traffic and resulting in bus diversions.
Smoke could be seen billowing from the top floor of a premises located above Kearneys pub as firefighters tackled the blaze.
Dublin Fire Brigade deployed five fire engines to the site shortly after 9.10am.
Emergency services remain at the scene.

The road remains closed to traffic heading towards College Green.

Meanwhile, Dublin Bus diverted its services via Winetavern Street and Ormond Quay.
No injuries have been reported.
