The Department of Health has confirmed 252 new cases of Covid-19.
Of the cases notified today, 124 cases are among men while 128 are women.
Most people - 66% - are aged under 45 years of age.
The median age is 34.
Most cases, 88, are in Dublin.
Elsewhere, there are 26 new cases in Cork, 21 in Kilkenny, 16 in Louth and 16 in Mayo.
The remaining 85 cases are spread across 20 counties.

Meanwhile, there have been 11 additional hospitalisations in the past twenty-four hours.
In total, 289 Covid patients are being treated in hospital, 33 of whom are in intensive care.
The 14 Day incidence rate is estimated to be 108.7 per 100,00 population.
