It's been confirmed Diarmuid Connolly has decided he WILL appeal his proposed 12 week ban.
The Dubs forward was handed the suspension after an incident with a linesman during the Leinster quarter-final win over Carlow.
It was widely believed that Connolly had accepted the ban, but it was reported in today's Irish News the forward will now launch an appeal.
