Donald Trump has been sworn in as the 45th President of the USA.
Trump took the Presidential Oath of Office just after 5pm Irish time, officially beginning his term as Commander-In-Chief.
It also officially ends the 8 year spell as President for Barack Obama.
Large crowds gathered at the Capitol Building in Washington DC, after Trump and the Obama's met for the traditional coffee at the White House.
Several dignitaries have attended the ceremony - including four previous Presidents and Hillary Clinton who competed Trump in the election.
Trump has paid tribute to Barack Obama for the peaceful and swift transition of both Presidents.
