Donald Trump was tested after a White House advisor was infected
Donald Trump has confirmed he's tested positive for COVID-19
The US President has revealed that his wife, First Lady Melania, was also infected with the disease.
Both were tested after White House advisor Hope Hicks recently returned a positive result.
Tonight, @FLOTUS and I tested positive for COVID-19. We will begin our quarantine and recovery process immediately. We will get through this TOGETHER!

Ms Hicks had been working closely with Trump in the last number of weeks, including travelling together.
They'd been working together as recently as Tuesday, during the Presidential debate.
