Donald Trump has reportedly signed a new executive order on the so-called travel ban.
News agency Reuters is reporting the new order will limit immigration from six mainly-Muslim countries.
They are Iran, Libya, Syria, Somalia, Sudan and Yemen.
It follows earlier reports that Iraq were being removed from the list of countries, due to their compliance with the US in combating ISIS.
Trump's advisor Kellyanne Conway has confirmed the new executive order will take effect on the 16th of March, the day Trump is due to meet with the Taoiseach.
Enda Kenny has previously committed to raising concern about Trump's immigration policy.
It comes just weeks after his original order was struck down by federal courts
