A driver has failed a drugs test at a roadside checkpoint on the N4 near Leixlip.
It's one of the first incidents of its kind under new road traffic regulations. The drug testing regulations on Irish roads have only been in place for a few days. The driver was already disqualified from driving for ten years according to the below tweet from An Garda Siochana.
They tweeted earlier today about the incident.
