Dublin airport has been named Europe's second most stressful airport.
Online analysis by Legacy Communications, looked at a range of data including the annual number of passengers,
rate of delays, as well as social media sentiment and passenger reviews.
Heathrow Airport in London was named the most stressful, while Manchester Airport was ranked number 3.
Airports around Europe have come under harsh criticism in recent weeks as staff shortages
due to Covid-19 have led to long queues and delays for passengers.
Airports have long been known as sources of stress but with the recent passenger queues in the main Irish airport it has won silver in the rankings of most stressful airports in Europe.
The process of checking passengers who are getting on a plane involves necessary scrutiny but the airport has come in for criticism in recent weeks due to the reinvigorated interest in foreign travel amongst Irish people hoping to travel.
