Two beaches in Dublin and two in Wicklow are among the cleanest in Ireland.
New research carried out by Irish Businesses Against Litter have examined the cleanliness of Ireland's coastal areas.
Among the cleanest are Dun Laoghaire Harbour and Portmarnock Beach in Dublin, and Bray Seafront and Brittas Bay in Wicklow.

Other pristine areas include Curracloe Beach in Wexford, Tramore Beach in Waterford and Clogherhead Beach in Louth.
Grand Canal Dock, Killiney Beach and Skerries Beach are deemed as moderately clean.
While the River Tolka at Annesley Bridge is classified one of Ireland's littered areas.
Conor Horgan from IBAL says the results aren't as bad as expected considering beaches were heavily used during the pandemic.
