Dublin Bus Nitelink services will return this Friday - having been temporarily shelved late last month.
That was because of Covid restrictions, however almost all of those rules were scrapped over the weekend.
The routes are now coming back and they will compliment 24 hour BusConnects spines such as the C routes to Lucan and Maynooth.
Fianna Fail's Dublin Spokesperson Cormac Devlin says this is fantastic news:
"It is important to have these Nitelink services to try to cater for the night time economy."
"To support the jobs and businesses in this sector that have been really badly hit by the pandemic over the last two years."
"So giving people this Nitelink service, the return is very very welcome."
"Indeed all Dubliners will welcome the new that the Nitelink service and indeed other public transport options are back."

Public Transport
It comes after the restrictions on hospitality opening hours were scrapped on Saturday.
However Dubliners were unable to get a late Luas due to works that night, and the Nitelink services had not returned yet.
Fine Gael Cllr Colm O'Rourke made the call on Saturday afternoon for the bus service to return:
“The Nitelink isn’t just for clubbers."
"It is an important service to workers and anyone looking for a low-cost option to get home safe."
"The confirmation from Dublin Bus today is a big relief to many people."
"The return of the service will play a part in helping the nighttime economy of Dublin City recover, which is so important."
"I am confident that the economy of our capital city will bounce back, and measures like this are a step in the right direction."
"Well done to Dublin Bus for all the fantastic services that they provide."
