Dublin City Council says it can’t rule out moving the Luke Kelly statue.
That's after it was vandalised for a seventh time.
Locals say they’re frustrated at the attacks.
They claim no action has been taken to protect Luke's statue on Guild Street.
Ridiculous carry on yet again, I don’t want the minions that did this to think they’ve won, but maybe time to move to a gallery or different venue, #LukeKelly pic.twitter.com/PhsYG0nly7

Gardaí Investigating Luke Kelly Vandalism. Again.
Members of the Gardai are investigating the latest attack, which happened yesterday.
Someone sprayed blue paint onto the face.
Dublin City Council says it’s aware of the high regard for the artwork locally.
However they Council are giving serious consideration to other ways of protecting it.
Locals say they don't want it moved, as it’s in the Luke Kelly Park.
Mark Fay is from the North Wall Community Association
He says he wants the statue to be raised and a railing to be installed around it:
"All we've heard over the last while is: We're going to add cameras, we're going to do this, we're going to do that."
"There has been nothing done."
"Nothing."
Mark says the community is getting a bad name:
"The statue is very accessible and it's very low."
"So the thing that gets us all the time is that, when this kind of thing happens, there's a few guys online."
"They say 'why did they put it there in the first place, they're all scumbags down in Sheriff Street anyway' you know?"
However Dublin City Council says it can't rule out temporarily or permanently moving the statue.
