Dublin hurler Danny Sutcliffe will switch the small ball for the big ball this weekend.
He's been named in the New York starting line-up that will officially kick-off the 2017 Championship at home to Sligo this weekend.
Sutcliffe has some pedigree with a size 5, as he won a Leinster Minor Championship medal with the footballers in 2009 before committing to hurling.
He's joined in the half-forward line by talented Wicklow man Conor McGraynor, who was a mainstay in his native county and for DCU during his college days.
Also in the side is 5-time Connacht champion Tom Cunniffe of Mayo.
