Dublin is the sixth most expensive capital city in the world to rent a one-bed flat.
At an average rent of €1,397 a month, only Monaco, London, Washington DC, Hong Kong and Singapore are more expensive.
That's according to a ranking published by the property insurance firm CIA Landlord.
London is the only city in Europe more expensive.

Dublin is the third most expensive city in Europe ahead of Luxembourg, Amsterdam, Stockholm and Copenhagen.
The cheapest European capital was Sarajevo where average monthly rent was €262.76 requiring a net salary of €625.24.
According to property website Daft.ie, rents nationally are now rising at an annual rate of 6.8 per cent.
