It's the final day to get submissions in!
Fans of Dublin Zoo have one day left to enter a competition to name their latest Rhinoceros calf.
At 4.30am on 10th February 2020, Ashanti gave birth to a healthy male calf.
The youngster is Ashanti’s seventh calf and became the newest member of the seven-strong herd in the African Plains, including father Chaka.
The southern white rhinoceros is the largest of the rhino species and the third largest land mammal species in the world after African and Asian elephants.
The well loved location launched a competition earlier this month to name Ashanti and Chaka's latest arrival.

The lucky winner will receive a a family day pass to Dublin Zoo to use once they reopen as well as the honour of naming the male rhino calf.
As southern white rhinoceros are originally found in Eastern and Southern Africa, they're looking for names of African origin, so do your research!
The closing date for entries is tomorrow, 30th of November.

The deadline comes just a week after The Save Dublin Zoo campaign received €1.1 million in government funding, on top of over €2 million in donations from the public.

It's after they said the Zoo could be forced to shut it doors permanently if ongoing animal care costs can't be met.
