Instead of promoting his album in Suffolk, Ed Sheeran has decided to promote road safety...

He recently got himself in trouble with Suffolk police for singing the lyrics "driving at 90" in his song Castle On The Hill. After the song's release, Sargent Chris Harris tweeted "Know you want to get home but please slow down on #SuffolkRoads #WelcomeBackEd #DrivingAt90 #CastleOnTheHill".

Ed told told the BBC that as a result, he "wanted to do some sort of billboards in Suffolk". He went on: "We thought it would be quite funny instead of having billboards saying the album is out, just having a blue sign that says 'drive safe'."
