Electric Picnic organisers are asking people attending the festival this year not to buy cheap tents and dump them.
The 2019 event, which is just over two weeks away, is completely sold out.
Organisers say thousands of tents were left behind at the Stradbally festival last year.
Melvin Benn, Managing Director Festival Republic, is hopeful that won't be the case this time around.
"What we've seen is this huge embracing of the environmental message that Greta Thunberg is putting out and Extinction Rebellion is putting out -- but they can't take notice of that and then leave their tents," he said.
