But there's concern about what the 44 billion dollar takeover will mean for the company's 500 staff at it's European headquarters in Dublin.

So no job cut backs have been mooted yet after yesterday's announcement that Musk will be taking over the company but that might all change if the tech-giant decides that the organisation is tech heavy.
The billionaire has repeatedly stated that he wants the site to become a bastion for free speech but many see it as a political instrument to advance his own agenda.
