It's believed 5 people have been killed after a plane crashed into a shopping centre in Australia.
The plane, which was on a chartered flight, crashed shortly after taking off from Essendon Airport into the mall near Melbourne.
5 people were on board the plane, which had sent out distress signals before it came down at around 9 o clock local time.
TV station 9 News Melbourne captured the extent of the crash and the damage it caused:

Authorities say there were no other fatalities other than those on the plane
