Taylor beat Amanda Serrano in a history-making fight on Saturday night.
A Dublin City Councillor has welcomed the possibility of a Katie Taylor fight being held in Croke Park.
Nial Ring says it would be a great opportunity for the surrounding area.
He also said the fight would boost tourism in the country and support local businesses.
The Bray boxer retained her world titles at Madison Square Garden at the weekend.
An agreement has been signed to hand Amanda Serrano a rematch after the first fight.

Dublin City Council says it will give a licence to Croke Park to host the fight.
Ring, a former Lord Mayor, says a fight on home soil would be a great way to pay tribute to Katie.
But he also said it could face some obstacles, most notably from the Croke Park residents.
"The timing of it in Croke Park, or if it were in Europe, may go against it."
"They want it on prime time in America which would mean it would have to be late at night over here."
"Let's work on it now, be proactive now, again, and engage with the locals."
