Swimming ban
Swimming has been banned at four beaches across Dublin for the second time in a month.
The strands affected are Seapoint, Sandycove, Forty Foot and Dollymount.
There was a controlled overflow discharge from the Ringsend facility yesterday morning as a result of a yellow rainfall warning last weekend.
A spokesperson for Irish Water also said the discharge is diluted screen-settled waste water.
The overflow is in keeping with the operation and compliance of the plant.
