Politicians were meeting in Capitol Hill to certify Joe Biden as President
Four people have died during violent protests after supporters of Donald Trump stormed government buildings at Capitol Hill in Washington D.C.
Among those who died was a woman who was shot.
The demonstrators interrupted the process taking place to confirm Joe Biden as the next President.
Donald Trump continues to claim that November's election was fraudulent, and he held a rally near Capitol Hill yesterday.

The White House revealed the US National Guard had been called in by Mr Trump after clashes between rioters and Washington DC police
A 6pm curfew was also imposed across the city.
Meanwhile, Twitter has locked Trump's account, after he posted two tweets which were sympathetic with those carrying out the violence.
Twitter has also threatened him with "permanent suspension" from the platform.
It comes after the site demanded he remove tweets excusing the violence on Wednesday.
