Children starting school in South Dublin this September can get their hands on a 'book bag'.
It'll be available from local libraries in the South Dublin region and free of charge. c
It's a collaboration between libraries and the Department of Children.

The book bag aims to prepare children for the big step into primary school.
Each 'My Little Library Book Bag' is available in both English and Irish.
It contains three books on starting school and making friends, and a library card.
Parents or guardians can collect the 'book bags' free of charge from the network of local libraries.
