GamerCon has apologised to fans after they were forced to wait outside in the rain and cold for hours due to the event being over booked.
In a statement organisers say they've refunded people who did not want to wait and that the issue was "out of their control''
It's understood 25,000 tickets were sold for the two day event but the venue can only take 7,000 people at a time.
GamerCon has also clarified that issues inside the venue are the "responsibility of the Convention centre".
Apologies for severe delays, we are working through the Queue as quickly as poss. Refund requests processed here https://t.co/pUCXnbREjX
